Im not talking about a digital Map, but a real one. I consider myself very artistically minded so I think I could do it without it looking too bad. What materials would I need, how much time would it take? I wanna do a global map from about 1920.

The Italian navy is almost ready to sail but the british have other ideas….
More pics to come, stay tuned -
That is a cool Spitfire. Sorry about your other plane. Nice Mediterranean fleet. It looks ready for war. :-D
-
Wow, really nice work on that navy. The grey spotting/stripes on the side give some nice contrast.

The italian merchant marine

A flock of destroyers……
-
Very nice work, DM! Is the ships with the brown the lead ships?
Just curious! :-)
-
Actually they were brownwashed instead of blackwashed, just decided to leave them like that for something a little different. Some of my paint jobs may look a bit rough when you get right up close but when you look down from tabletop level, some of them look awesome……

Some cruisers cruising……
-
A few subs……
-
These are very nice too! :-)
-
Battleships….
I scrapped a few to replace the 2nd turrets -
Those battleships are really awesome. I like the one with the guns cocked to the side. Very cool, DM! :-D
-
aircraft carriers……
-
Great job on your planes and carriers. Everything is looking good and ready for battle. :-)
-
Ark royals……
-
Wow, those are sweet DM! :-D
-
I am always amazed by your color tones. Great job DM! Those carriers have some good markings on them. Your pieces give me inspiration.

Thanks guys, spitfire, i research as much as i can to get the colour schemes and then use what i think are the closest match. Sometimes i get it wrong but i also use artistic licence on some just to break up the schemes.
