Yea, it was a bit of a bother there for a minute, lol. Got the thread up and running, and just have to wait for folks to start responding…

What is the Java Version you are using?
Java 8 Update 25 is the latest version. If you already reinstalled TripleA I would install the latest Java Runtime Environment as a next try.

Thank you Panther! That seems to be working. Not sure how it stopped working but it stopped working, right after my laptop installed Windows updates… Thanks again! You’re awesome! :-D :-D :-D

Good news, great to hear it works now!
You’re welcome :-) -
Anyone play on a Mac?
We’ve got a new one, with the latest Yosemite OS. Have downloaded the correct triplea software and then installed the latest Java 8 update.", but it won’t load; every time we get an error message saying we need Java se 6.Any thoughts on where we’re going wrong?
Thanks -
Idk, have no experience with Macs.
Did you go here?
http://sourceforge.net/projects/triplea/files/TripleA/1_8_0_5/They just released a new TripleA (1805). Install using the mac.dmg file.

Hi Zhukov. We did. Thank you.
Have that message appearing, nonetheless. -
IDK if this will help or not Wittman
Attentional all Apple / Mac OS users! (must read to be able to play)
-
maybe this will work:
Ok, new attempt and this time looks like it worked!?
What I did:
-
Downloaded the mac OS version from the site
-
Installed the .app in the applications folder as normal
-
If I tried to run the triplea.app won’t work but
go to applications folder, right click on triplea.app and choose: “show package contents”
the navigate to Contentes > Resources > Java > and then double click at triplea.jar will run fine!
Not 100%, the icon is the default java icon, not the triplea, but at least will work without complaints about java 6!
Could someone else try this approach and confirm?

Thanks Barney. Will need to wait 12 hours to check, as I am an idiot and my wife will need to do it and she won’t be free until late tonight. Will report back when she has tried it.
