Already resigned and posted, with Germany about to take Moscow, I only had this one chance to secure S. Italy and if I couldn’t there was going to be no way to recover…

Ah, didn’t notice since you didn’t post the turn summary. That’s some pretty good defence by those Italians! I think the game was tough for the allies even after taking Rome, but it would give a you a chance in Europe.
I’ll take allies with +16, but I’d like to use the 16 IPC differently than you did, if that’s allright with you?
