My remark was not meant to decry unluckiness, we both had luck. Nobody can foretell big naval battles etc., but results like Hunan surely make every player shake their head simply because of the freaky unlikeliness - although clearly this has to happen from time to time and one just remembers if it went against one :)

It’s correct. Holland becomes grey once liberated by Italy.
holland definitely becomes German.
But NW Persia is incorrect. By the time of your Italian turn, I still had anzac+french units there. I doubt you would attack that…
