Hello there. I’ve really enjoyed reading up on those these rules and I’m sure I’ll have fun implementing them as well. A couple questions though. With the Free French I read that they’ll be implementing the “China mechanism” where I get no industrial complexes are used. My question is “does that mean they can only place infantry and artillery?” Also i assume that Germany can collect tribute IPC’s from ANY Vichy territory with German units occupying it. Thanks for any clarifications.

Other than the Russian bomber added to the setup, I highly doubt any of my group will want house rules for a game that we just started playing… especially with my history of changing the Global rules… LOL. Nice idea, but I probably won’t be able to introduce house rules until my group gets board of the game in a year or 2 (maybe even 3).

With the newer titles you have blank factory tiles that would work well for your ideas as well as the tiles marked “3” and “10” from the Global games.

remember the 4X rule in these places and also the variations on costs for infantry depending on VC.

1. Is there a limit as to the number of infantry that can be built at VCs?

yes of course, the 4x rule…

2. If China is incapable of replacing American aircraft or building armor, why are they given a factory in the game? In reality, China had only the capability to build infantry - which was poorly trained and equipt. The presence of a factory in the game allows for China to build any type of unit.

4x rule allows them to only build artillery or infantry ( or mech)

As infantry are built at victory cities, I propose removing the factory from China.

but what about artillery? China had artillery and they are but an army of misfits w/o them

So, DD & SS are separated out from the rest combat and this warfare is accomplished first. Then Air Combat. Then fleet warfare.

yes and its on your naval combat sequence player aid. sub interaction,then survivors allocate air units and they fight concurrently with ongoing naval actions.

yeah I checked out your USSR player aid
I feel a complex pattern might make it slightly harder to read the text on the printed thing
maybe just go along the line of one compact and one pretty presentation version

so would be nice to have additionally a simpler one for “comfort zone” reasons
it would look similar to revised OOB in colours patterns and style

Yep thats correct… but once Moscow is fallen its possible for western allies to move into Soviet territories because after all communism has fallen and Stalin is dead.
