If you had placed the inf and arty on london and kept the french fighter… I might have kept going Russia.
Actually that is a lie, I would do go sea lion. Italy bombs the airbase for the win.

getting 3 1’s in a row is the reason this is happening. I should have knocked out your fleet with maybe a damaged BB left and an extra fighter, which would have been 3 ftrs in UK.
The dice decided this game again… it is insane and I can’t believe it.

I know it sucks. Add 3 ground units to london and you are much better off. However it does set you back in your other plans considering you need to help Russia out asap, because Germany has plenty to take Russia out of the game by round 6.
It was an extremely bad spot to be in. That is why I believe the allies need an 18 bid. You get diced anywhere on the map and the game ends right there without the bid.
I think 3 more units on London would be enough to deter me. It rolls 3 rounds, 0-9 defense hits, 3 average. Changes the odds incredibly.

You are right in that normally you would blow that fleet away and still have a bship, dd, cruiser. This would go to the med sea and keep Italy out of the game.
It is really bad luck.

G1 and J1 is all in, lit is a luck based strategy. I hit my luck early so I have to take advantage of it. Otherwise I go strait to attacking Russia round 6 or bust.
