@barnee I doubt that it is something on your end. I am regularly experiencing this, getting “temporarily unavailable due to heavy load” messages almost every day.
It’s not only bound to the login but to the access to the forum in general.

I decided to finally modify the forum theme slightly to have it look more like the main site. It does take up a bit more vertical space but that is what the “Shrink/Expand Header” button is for.
I also added some Google ads to help pay for all of this fun you are all having. :-)

oh and one last thing: if possible, it would be a good idea to change the background color from blue to the gray of the SMF forum
