I went when I was really young. I think I mainly visited resorts and amusement parks.
Curling

We screwed the pooch or we would have been up for Gold Silver.
It’s not bad to watch. It does not hit the same level I give the other events which require a complete dedication of ones life to get to the top of, but it’s not bad. -
I really love curling. It is so much fun to watch. I’m really thinking about looking up a curling club somewhere near me.
-
it looks fun and all, but why would you do it when you can simply do hockey?
-
The US Curiling Girls! Woohoo!
So they lose, at least they look good doing it. :-DYeah, and good job by the guys. I was surprised we got a medal.
Makes up for our pitiful display in Hockey.
-
m36, I’m a terrible skater :)
-
I want that Girls of Curling calendar! Wow! Who woulda thought?

@M36:

no equipment necessary (aside from a broom, some stones, and a rink)
you can play co-ed
you can play injured (not very easily, but still)
you can be small or slow, and still excell at it
it is a completely different type of game. The strategy is different, and rather than being in real-time, it is a turn-based game.
it is an easy sport to get many different people from different backgrounds to play (for office parties etc.)i know i’m missing a bunch, but there are a few off the top.
Also - i missed the US girls curling team, but i’ve seen their hockey team, and they are absolutely LOVELY - even relative to our team.

I actulay got the chance to catch some curling this year and I have to admit there were some definate hotties. Of course I’ve been in Iraq for 3 months.
