Reminder (so that you don’t have to redo your turn) that we are playing by the rulebook.
This means you cannot move ships away from the zones that contain USA subs just to avoid combat, during the combat movement phase - they must be conducting combat elsewhere to move in the combat movement phase. I trust they will serve to limit your options considerably or do major convoy damage :evil:

Actually doesn’t matter if you’re attacking the subs or not.
Moving the carriers and destroyers away from 6 or 35 is illegal unless they are going to conduct combat.
Apparently you never understood the ramifications and details of this rule?? Anyway, this move is very illegal.
