Sure. The best online retailer for this sort of thing is Historical Board Gaming. go there and you will find every piece to almost every AA board game, even some Anniversary pieces. Of course, Ebay is a good way to acquire pieces as well.
I was wondering if the Axis and Allies Minis play by Forum section is defunct or not, I have seen numerous posts and threads by admins ( including the only one in the forum itself) saying it is functional and yet there are no games. Is it operational? And how does that work exactly?
Hey Bolt-Action British,
Take a look in the Play Miniatures section, I’m posting the contents of an AAM game. There used to be many games in that section but a forum glitch nuked-em. But follow the new thread, ask questions, and you’ll have the hang of it soon!
**Hello my defenders of the Fatherland. I’m looking for your thoughts again. I like assult groups, I’m wondering what you have used in the past as a combined force or (assult group) ie: 4 sspg 1 sshaup 1 pz faust 1 exp snipe. It can be armor or infantry.
list out Parameters:
Year
Unit limit
Why was it successful? (what did you use it against?)**
The rest of Sols minis came today, and we started playing. It was kinda diffilcult to understand at first, but after awhile it was easy. We played 2 matches in which I lost both. I had a good setup, it was just the way I commanded my units that made me lose. Oh well, I learned from my mistakes. Anyways, he got some pretty good rare pieces, which I think he will post later.
Agreed on the inserts for tackle/tool boxes - I have one insert for each army, and it keeps them from rattling around (Used to keep each army in a booster box…lol).
I read the Set II Checklist again and it specifically points out that giving a Chinese army the sdkfz 222 is for scenario play. I think this is just a general rule of thumb for scenarios: if country X had unit Y but unit Y belongs to country Z, just use it in your scenario as country X anyway.
That’s the beauty of this game.
I’m going to start a new thread about Sino-German relations.
