Infrastructure - i’m afraid you committed an act that is contrary to the clearly defined rules. The convoy dice occur after noncombat move is completed, and you made an edit after the convoy dice were rolled. Please adjust the map back to where your men were when the convoy roll occurred.
Cheers
-
If you have any issue with the rule we can get a moderator ruling.

Strange as there has been precendence this game to the contrary. We could look at uk10 as a recent example? Has something occurred to predicate a change of previously accepted behavior?

Uk1 is an example of me drawing your attention to a noncom change I wanted to make after convoy dice were rolled. You had every right to refuse to allow it.
-
Uk10. Again, I drew your attention to it and requested the change. You accepted. Had you refused you would have been well within your rights.
-
I was lucky to even see the change as I often do not review moves in detail. I often just download the map and play my turn. At the very least, please see that you must draw the other players attention to the fact you are requesting an edit. In this case had you requested, I would have denied your request.
I have contacted Cmdr Jenn to adjudicate the situation if you refuse to adjust the map back to where it was when the dice were rolled. This is certainly not how I would handle every situation like this (in fact I have rarely ever invoked this right), but with you specifically for many reasons, this is how I will proceed.
Cheers

Infrastructure -
Because you accepted a noncombat edit once does not mean you will always accept noncom edits. Nor does it mean your opponent will allow them without exception. Certainly not without clearly stating your wishes. I do not wish to make a big deal out of it, I just want you to follow the rules. If you felt the acceptance of my edit meant that for the rest of the game neither you nor I would have to request to make a noncom edit you were simply mistaken.
Respectfully -
Bold
-
To be clear, I will not allow the edit in this case - you placed your buy, rolled for convoy damage, and collected income, all before making the noncom edits. Cmdr Jenn will log on soon hopefully, to make the ruling if you do not agree.
Cheers

EDIT: Turning off Edit Mode -
for the record. I assure you that the convoy rolls had no effect on my edit. ANd I ask that you allow the edit as I allowed you to do over 4 times this game.
-
please allow edit from my german posting done on may4th.
-
Request politely declined.
-
Any edits allowed by either one of us in this game do not amount to a hill of beans when compared to this one. Once again, just because we may have both allowed various edits to occur throughout the course of this game does not mean every edit will be allowed. When an edit is requested after noncom phase is clearly over are at the discretion of the player to allow in every case unless there was a clearly defined agreement - which in our case there was not.
-
You know, if it was any player but you I would allow the edit. However, you have zero good will stored up with me - perhaps you can imagine why. I can think of at least 3 or 4 times that you have been rude and/or talking crap about me in other threads. Mainly I am not interested in letting you off the hook here because I am 100% certain you would not let me off the hook if the roles were reversed.
You were winning this game overwhelmingly. I set a trap, and to do so, I gave up a lot of other things I could have been doing. However, I determined that the best chance to beat you was to set up for this particular move. You fell into the trap by leaving Berlin undefended during noncombat, then you did not place any units in Berlin during your build. Then you rolled convoy dice and collected income. The convoy dice may not have affected your decision to add units to Berlin, but the fact of the matter is, this is a phase based game per the rulebook and you left the noncombat phase then tried to come back to it. And when you did, you made the edit without mentioning it - I have strong reason to believe it was in an attempt to be undetected, which it nearly was.
It is my right to deny your noncombat edit request and I have chosen to do so. I got sloppy in this game and you capitalized - just one example - you killed a large fleet left in z98 with no losses. I proceeded knowing that I then had to catch you in a moment of sloppiness and when that moment has now occurred, you are asking that I concede the game to you by allowing you to re-enter a phase of your turn that you clearly left.
Now, you still have a chance (small I grant you - but I have had similar failures) of holding Berlin. In addition, once you retake Berlin, you still have a strong opportunity to make this a game because of how large your advantage was prior to this mistake.
Once again, I request that you revise the map to where it was when you entered the collect income phase so the match can continue. If you hold Berlin then you can win fair and square. If Berlin falls, they you still have a good chance of winning fair and square. This game has all the makings of a classic. You saw my chance to take Berlin, but you just saw it too late. That’s the way these games work - there is a point when by the rulebook you cannot go back without the agreement of your opponent and you moved past that point.
Cheers
