  • Thanks for the game. The Germans taking the UK made it challenging.

    With low luck, it very likely that the Japanese army attacked by 19 Soviet infantry actually fared better than they would have with regular luck. With regular luck, there is a greater chance of a whole continuum of possible outcomes, including extreme ones. In this situation, the continuum for good outcomes for the Japanese was small (3 loses is the expected; and better outcomes include only 2 loses, 1 loss, or 0 losses) and the continuum for bad outcomes was very large (4 to 19 loses). So it is likely that, with regular luck, the Japanese would have  probably been wiped out quicker and inflicted even fewer losses on the Soviets
