    In this battle it was obvious that you had overwhelming power , but you took a destroyer as a hit instead of the transport which left the transport defenseless for the last round of battle. This and the other time I left my Italian men on the transports in the Mediterranean has unbalanced the whole theatre of war. I am folding and conceding the game to you.

    I would have appreciated a game edit and the men placed on Italian soil as it was obvious that I overlooked this. I would not normally leave men on defenseless transports.

  • The very first hit should have been the transport. They serve as fodder not as a line of defense.


  • Hello Grendal, if there were troops on the transport, I would have no problem moving them to land and continuing the game.  I don’t think the loss of the Italian navy dooms the strategy.  I hit hard - 3 x 3 + 1 x 4 vs 1 x 2 and 1 x 3. Odds say I should have had a damaged battleship left over.  but, for my strategy, I was willing to sacrifice the battleship as cannon fodder.

    Do you want to start a new game? Finish this one? (editing any men on boat/I don’t recall what was on boat) Something else?

  • reading thread, sounds like there was another transport with guys on it. Im okay with edit. If you just let me know as we go, I’m all for being fair.  I sure hope you don’t feel that because i didn’t offer to let you keep the dudes you think poorly of me as a good sport. If you wanted to keep some guys that you forgot to land, NO PROBLEM.


  • Ok start a new one. I will take off kamikaze planes so that planes only go within movement allowance. I’ll start again with the axis.

  • Matt, this email address - yasar2_156@yahoo.ca is NOT registered with the dice server.  Do you still have your Matt something or other email?  From 15 or 18 months ago? That one is Registered. I successfully tested the die roller with that email.  If you are ONLY using the yasar address these days, you will need to reset it.  Let me know and we can start gaming.

  • Okay. so that things go correctly, best bet is to save and open game.  Then make certain in that initial grey box where you select “play” and load the saved game - make certain your email address is correct once you open the save.  I think it might have your old Matt…address.


  • Matt, I’m confused.  I tried entering your email: yasar2_156@yahoo.ca  and testing the die server. It doesn’t work. Did you create a dice server on that account? Or are you using the OLD email that begins with your name Matt… Please tell me which one you are using.


  • I made a move on the game you started. It had my other email that started with ‘matthew.’ There is a scramble waiting there. We should proceed with that and stop this thread for now.
