Maybe there should be a one day gaming event, followed by a social event? I am sure the social event could be in a venue that would cost you nothing (Restaurant / Pub etc). Maybe even at the same venue / Hotel to save you even more money on booking expenses.

Just stay at the Palace. It’s got the most class for a Hotel. Rooms are small because it was built in the 1800’s

Oh this is a great idea!!! Like variable said, it would be nice to see something like this on the west coast. I’ll be there for sure. Great idea Dave. Hope we can get as many folks as possible.

I’m almost positive Karl7 would attend too. He lives in the city and is a very dedicated player, as we all are. We’ve been trying to get together for a game for a while now. Can’t think of a better way to do it then this.

I’d love to come. But a number of factors will need to align for me to be able to attend. Keep us updated. I hope it’s a great success!

I won’t have time to put this together for January 2015 so it will be in the fall. When the weather starts to get bad in the rest of North America, it gets amazing in SF.
It will also likely not be in the City of SF. I think the USS Hornet would be really awesome …

This is one I may be able to do. Not too far from Portland and might be able to get some Tacoma fam to go too. It’s nice to see something big on the West Coast!

I might not be able to organize this event in time. It’s a little more than 13 months from now and I’m currently slammed at work.
I will do an event on the USS Hornet but it may not be 2015. :-(

––Right now I can’t commit to definately attending as establishing my museum is seemingly taking forever,…but if it is at all possible I would VERY MUCH like to attend and put some faces to the names I’ve come to know and appreciate. By then I should also have more painted units completed and would love to enjoy a game using them with ya’ll. Please keep us all updated. If I’m able to attend it should be very easy to supplement this visit with some railroad & military history sites,….like the California State Railroad Museum and a thousand other sites.
