    Oops, messed up on the button mashing there.  I think you’re right, likely Germany will crush the Russian army in Samara even though I retreated to maximize their small chance of winning.

    Unfortunately, I think the game is already over.
    I have 8 Euopean VCs at the end of a round of play (Berlin, Paris, Rome, Warsaw, Cairo, Leningrad, Stalingrad, Moscow). This is the situation I was referring to when I commented after Japan; TripleA should have given a notice also after France.
    Normally I wouldn’t feel right about a “cheap” win of moving a single Italian tank into undefended Moscow. But I don’t see how you hold on more than 1 turn anyway (and I did offer the chance to make changes to R13 after J13).

    Yes, you have eight VCs and after the German move I probably won’t have a Russian army to retake them.  But if you take them on I13, you haven’t held the eight VCs for a complete round until I14.  I know that tripleA will give an early victory announcement before the complete round is done, is that misleading you?
