Thanks for the feedback. Most of the rules for the game were crowd sourced from those actually playing an axis and allies style game. The game was never intended to be a historically accurate representation of the American civil war…as are the axis and allies WW2 games. They are themed games. You are welcome to try it out on Steam tabletop simulator if you have it before casting any kind of judgement. It really is a fun game that challenge players. If you want more historically accurate games, you’ll have to look elsewhere.
Using Tripple A and a map that I made based of Europe at war

I looked at triple a’s use of sub boxes to make other theater’s better than the absurdly bad Africa in A&A 1914 and i have been building a system of moral for use in it. I may as an option introduce technology to the game as well but not at this stage. I have decided on a system of simultaneous movement by writing orders down while speeding the game up. I broke it out into 2 week intervals and production will be every other turn to encourage tactics rather than massed armies i tripled production on the map and kept all the costs the same we will be play testing it next week.
