  • Reverse the order for hits 9 & 10 and 11 & 12. The correct OOL is:

    hit 1 on undamaged BB, hits 2-5 on CV1 & CV2, hits 6-8 on the 3 TACs, hits 9 & 10 on on CV3, hits 11 & 12 the CAs, hits 13-14 on first two fighters, hits 15 & 16 on CV4, hits 17-19 on last 3 fighter, hits 20 & 21 on BBs.


  • It seems unlikely that I can save 2 CVs, so my re-revised OOL is:

    hit 1 on undamaged BB, hits 2-5 on CV1 & CV2, hits 6 on a TAC, hits 7 & 8 on  CV3, hits 9 & 10 on the 3 remaining 2 TACs, hits 11 & 12 on first two fighters,  hits 13-14 on the CAs, hits 15 & 16 on CV4, hits 17-19 on last 3 fighter, hits 20 & 21 on BBs.


  • If it gets to the point where the Japanese have 1 CV, 3 Fighters, and 2 BBs left and must take 1 more hit, then sacrifice a third fighter so as not to leave the CV damaged. That is, I would prefer to end with 1 CV with 2 fighters on it (+ 2 BBs) rather than a damaged CV (with no fighters + 2 BBs + 3 fighters on Java).

    since naval battles aren’t done perfectly on triple A. I will roll this battle here and you can select your loses as the battle goes on, just as we were face to face….I will send you a file for your records shortly….
