    if you’re gonna whine, fine, but you should acknowledge when it swings back the other way, unless you don’t care if you annoy the crap out of your opponent  :roll:


  • You guys have serious issues.  That was a single battle where I had a 4:3 advantage.  There’s a difference when it’s a single die toss at near coin flip odds vs 4 out of 4 battles single naval ships got hits odds of that outcome was 1:54 since I had overkill in each battle.  I’m not going to go into details while the game is going on, but that 2% outcome forced me to change my plans completely.  This game so far hasn’t been lopsided one way or another in terms of dicing outcomes thus far, as a whole that is.  Still, I’ll take my 3 German air back any day for that British tac  :-P  Had I won 4 of those battles battles with similar results as the bomber/tac battle in the same turn then maybe I would have said gosh that was pretty lucky.  33% chance of that outcome vs 2% in the battle you guys quoted me is night and day, unless you are blind or can’t do math.

    You killed an 11 IPC unit and didn’t get hit with your 12 IPC unit.  That’s lucky.  That’s all I saw - I don’t even know what happened in the other round where Bold said you were lucky.

    Irritating as heck when people whine in the first round or two, then start getting good luck, and ……
