With battles where AA or naval errors are not problem, Marti is fine then? Is there really a need to edit in the rolls? Indeed for battles where AA is an issue/problem, could we not agree that the first set of Marti rolls would be applied to fighters, the set to Tacs, and third set to bombers. For example, if an attacker attacks with 2 fighters, 2 Tacs, and 2 bombers;Â the defender has 2 AA units; and Marti rolls 3, 2, 1, 5, 6, 1; the 3 & 2 would be applied to the fighters, the 1 and 5 to the Tacs (1 Tac lost), and the 6 and 1 would be applied to the bomber (1 bomber lost). This would avoid all the work of the play by web site procedure.Â
I believe the two main issues have to do with strategic bombing where there is a need to differentiate between aa fire at bmb’s and aa fire at tac’s and I don’t believe marti/triple A does this. The other major issue, as I am aware, is the naval/air battles. let’s just cross this road when we get there. I didn’t mean to burden you with to much BS.

this seems like a great idea. So before a battle such as this we would simply remind each other of the tacs or bmb’s getting the first or last set of dice…We can also review the naval issues when they arrive.
We could agree on the convention that AA targets any fighter first, then any tacs, and finally any bombers. If there are no fighters to target, then tacs would automatically be targeted. Such a convention eliminates the need to check with an opponent and wait for a reply.

the tac that started in sz 43 couldn’t have attacked the Philippines and then landed in z42? that would have been 5 moves. It only has 4….please tell me what you want to do.
wow you really messed up the jpn ncm….I am not sure where to begin? I am not sure how you could land a tac onto japan after all of that…
in the end, you can’t seem to be able to move a tac to z42. I see you tried to edit my UK edits versus just using the file I posted. Review the last file I sent and if you think everything is ok I will proceed.
The main Japanese fleet in SZ 43 consisting of the BB, CV, sub, & fighter from the Borneo attack should have gone to SZ 44 to join the CA and transport already there and the Tac returning from the Philippines attack. One DD in SZ 43 should have gone to SZ 55 and other DD in SZ 43 should have gone to SZ 56. I apologize for rushing and completely messing up this noncombat move.
