Cow over Karl7 Allies – not a pretty game.  Whatever chance I had was ripped right out from under me by the dice.  Cow did several air raids on inf stacks, killing upwards of 20ish units for 1 ftr… plus over 20 aa shots against his bombers and NO hits…

This was not a pretty game.  :cry:

Karl7 got a true dicing. I lost minimal units on G1. Lost 3 units on J1.  When my Japan attacked with air, I was supposed to lose 5 fighters, lost 1 only. Germany attacks with air against infantry, lose nothing or 1 fighter. I did it again with Germany, lost 2 bombers that round. Did it again except it was like 8 mech 7 bombers vs 15 inf… lost 4 mech to kill 11 inf.  Bombed Russia with 6 bombers lost nothing, max damage on airbase and 19 on Russia. Japan sunk USA with pure air, lost pretty minimal units.  Lost like 4 infantry only to take New South Wales.

Yeah dicings all around.

This isn’t my day.  Cow and I reboot after I got dice, and AGAIN!  UK’s first round attacks go wildly bad basically throwing the game.

Help me out here….

Earlier today Karl posted a loss to Cow, making it 0-2
Now you had a short one and Karl is resigning making it 0-3?

If so, it won’t count until Cow hits 13 games.  Probably another case of Cow not being familiar with the league rules?  Anyway, please confirm.  Is it 0-3?  (To be counted when Cow hits 12, this being his 13th)

Yes, another dice game, to wit:

Battle in 110 Sea Zone
                British attack with 1 battleship, 1 cruiser, 1 destroyer and 2 fighters
                Germans defend with 1 battleship and 2 submarines
                Units damaged: 1 battleship owned by the Germans
                Units damaged: 1 battleship owned by the British
                retreated to 110 Sea Zone
                Germans win with 1 battleship and 1 submarine remaining. Battle score for attacker is -44
                Casualties for Germans: 1 submarine
                Casualties for British: 1 battleship, 1 cruiser, 1 destroyer and 1 fighter

This was UK1, so basically the German fleet unexpectedly survived allowing Germany to do an about face and do a cheap sealion.  The USSR was not able to capitalize on it because they had moved back against a G1 attack.

That’s three games in a row for me where early Axis luck/bad Allied luck tipped the game pretty decisively… but them’s the breaks.

We played on for fun and the allies tried to make up some ground but in the end the early Axis advantage never ebbed.

Karl7 got diced 3 games in a row. It didnt matter if he was attacking or defending, the dice gods said, NO KARL7 YOU LOSE, COW GETS THE 1% DEFENSE CHANCE.

I had a less than 1% chance to defend successfully in sz 110. If you run the calc 5000 times it comes out to 99% attacker wins 0 % defend 0% draw.

You do not get diced harder than that folks.

Plus it is not like anyone would retreat. Who the hell expects snake eyes from 2 subs and a bship to hit?
