What a mess.  Germany came out with an aggressive G1 on the land, into SFra, France, Nor/Bor, and Yugo… and got pasted.  -17 IPC swing in France, 5 infantry lost in Yugo, an armor lost in SFra.  Really sub-par Japan, too.  Clearly I struggle playing anything later than a J2 DoW.

Vold Axis over Karl7

Hmm, the old strategy of KJF is starting to fray.  Vold and a couple other players are forgoing the German navy and going straight for the jugular with Russia.  If USA gets bogged down in the Pacific, which is what happened here with some bad rolls and good play by Vold, then the Axis can knock out Russia and then swoop down on Cairo with ease while the US is still trying to knock out Japan’s fleet.

Good game.
