I was just surprised, because last time I checked, variance had 4 straight losses, and I wondered how he could beat Karl.

I now realise that after the first 4 losses, variance is at 4-3 for a total of 4-7. So it is an improving curve.

I stand corrected.

I’ve gotten in trouble so many times myself when I meant something as a compliment that I later learned could be taken as an insult  :-)

Well it is an upset anytime a tier 4 type beats a tier 2 guy.  I did have 4 straight losses against good players after returning from a 4 month break, but I’m starting to learn from my mistakes.  :-)

yeah, the German bombing raids on Moscow were the break you needed in our game.  The dice broke your way and it was down hill from there…
