• How do you determine the number of post that you have to do to be certain ranks. if that makes any sense cause it doesnt to me.

  • Mod

    just post man… just post… 8)

pretty soon you’ll be a destroyer

  • nice 8)

  • It’s relatively arbitrary.

  • ?

    k! :)

  • kk

but i wanted to know how many posts you needed to be a rank. just curious. :) :o

  • Yam,

    ( 0 - infinity = Moderator, Administrator)
    0 - 99 = Infantry
    100 - 249 = Artillery
    250 - 499 = Tank
    500 - 999 = Submarine
    1000 - 1499 = Fighter
    1500 - 1999 = Destroyer
    2000 - 2999 = Bomber
    3000 - 4999 = Battleship
    5000 - ? = ???(Heavy Bomber or Technology??) :)

  • I think Uber Tank would be a cool name. :)

  • lol

  • I think a few more advances in the lower ranks would incourage neobies…
    0 = Visitor
    1-2 = Newbie
    3-9 = Infantry
    10-19 = Marine
    20-34 = Armor
    35-39 = AA
    40-59 = Submarine
    60-64 = Transport
    65-89 = Fighter
    90-119 = Bomber
Note that 50 and 100 have not been made rank markers.
    120-149 = Aircraft Carrier
    150- 199 = Battleship
    200 + = ???

    One final note…
Moderators and Administrators should not have their posts counted.
Their post count should freeze at the last # they posted before Admin/Moding.

  • I think we should have service ranks like the military. But we need to include service ranks from other nations (germany) so i can be a Obersturmführer like my grandfather was. It would be a fitting tribute. But for others they can be another rank

  • First:
    It was Obersturmbannführer.
    Second:
That is not a military rank, but a para-military rank of one of the most inhumane organisations the world ever saw.
I don’t think that having been part of the organisation that ran the german death camps and was directly responsible for the death of million innocent people is something that calls for tribute.

  • History 103: Its a rank in the Waffen SS among others and the rank is spelled correctly. MY grandfather was a leader of a platoon of men. He served with distinction for his nation. Did you?

History 104: He never ran or worked in any camp as they were in an actual combat group. It would help you learn History or repeat it
