    I did an edit, because I realized that you might figure out that the japanese bombers can reach Smolensk and thus you can freebie your way into Russia. I am not sure if you would have considered killing a lone infantry unit if you had thought about this. Anyways this is why I retreated to Russia.

    Two things really; No, I would not have noticed the bomber move.  Two, of course you can make the edit.  That being said, if you would prefer to reverse it on USA move, go ahead.

    I’m finding myself in an ethical dilemia of sorts; sacking Moscow for the loot and wrecking your factory has alot of appeal, but I wouldn’t have noticed the bomber move myself so i am not sure if I should make the play that you reveiled to me or not.

    You can’t sack Moscow. I will reveal the counter. I can land a US bomber I have stationed in UK in the same area the infantry is now. It might cost me 15 ipc total if you don’t loose a bomber while attacking the infantry unit, but not moving the army back to Moscow, means I can stay at Bryansk a turn longer. The other benefit would be that your bombers would be in Europe where they can’t really do much except harass the poor Russians. Given the fact the bombers are more usefull in Asia, it would be a waste to try this. All it results in is loosing perhaps 1 or 2 bombers without any real gain. Well the gain would be killing a bomber, but thats not really worth the effort I think. I might be wrong tho.
