i don’t think so - i was shuffling them multiple times. there were 4 in bryansk and 7 in russia that didn’t move in combat. there was 1 in ukr that didn’t move in combat. let me check again.

It’s okay. This one was easy to spot since the remove/adds were symmetrical. I should note that some of your other edits were far more tedious to audit though.

if you would prefer, when i do a ton of edits, i can just reload the map, edit the dice results to match, and do a clean noncombat.

That’s a worse option (from my perspective) since I would need to check dice emails and/or compare two maps.
Saving the map at the NCM stage would be ideal, so that if you change your mind after clicking past to placement, it can be adjusted with no editing or auditing needed at all.
It’s easy to forget to save, so I don’t expect a no edit game or anything. But it could be helpful if you’re willing.
