Planes vs. Sub

If I take a battleship and strategic bomber against an enemy cruiser and sub, and my opponent does not submerge, how does combat proceed? Do I roll the battleship and bomber at the same time or separately? Meaning, if I roll at the same time and get one hit, he chooses to lose the sub or cruiser (since bombers can’t hit subs)? Or, do I roll separately, and if the bomber hits he MUST lose the cruiser?
