I am curious if he sends the destroyers or not. Sending the dds would be going all in. Without dds, 60-70% odds and most of the time it will trade evenly… the built in calculator assumes air taken before cruisers/bbs so the 60% odds and the average -24 tuv loss is a little off because in those simulations subs are taking out cruisers/bbs in rounds 2 and 3 when they would be taken as casualties from rounds 1 and 2.

THAT made a difference!  I missed those 4 battles because I was overlooking AA in the first 5 rounds and failed to go back and check for them.

So now, in fact, the ALLIES have had the edge in air only battles throughout the game.

Overall net of 1.37 with Allied advantage of approximately +2 aircraft from G5 through UK9!

And it seems it has been growing since last night?  Guess I will update again.

is this spreadsheet just lumping all aircraft losses together regardless of if it is axis or allied air?

Negative numbers mean in favor of Axis, and Positive numbers are for favorable Allied results.

a small subset of the battles.  a full analysis can be done in the end, but as of right now, nothing is that far out of line either way - in large part due the the AWNISHANK reroll in amur.  certainly nothing like the cow game where he won almost entirely due to incredible out of this world luck.  this game, on the other hand, is much more ruled by strategy, so may that continue and may the best team win.

the “bias” if there is one, is one of recent memory…  and is influenced largely by the loss of the 3 cruiser which tightened up the pacific dramatically, and is not included in this calc.

so, will the pressure is now on the axis… will they push back or be pushed over.

there’s a tremendous variance in 13 ones.  will be fun if we get to roll them all as surprise attacks.  this game has some very interesting situations unfolding.  looking forward to the axis decisions in response to the bold choices we made this round.
