    ummmm problem in z42.  you took a sub as casualty then did 4 more battles, then edited your sub back in and changed to take damage on battleship.  do you not think that you would need to request this edit which was done after subsequent combat dice were rolled?

    Yep, sorry about that. I should have asked. The edit had nothing to do with the other battles, just a simple mistake by me.

    the default hit is to the battleship.  which means you had to specifically remove that hit and take the hit on the sub.  if the default was the sub, then i could understand it.  but you made a decision and then rolled more dice.  normally this is the sort of thing that we would give a concession on but since other dice were rolled after a specific decision where you had to deselect the battleship and select the submarine.

    i mean, you were taking issue with me changing a buy on a turn where no dice were rolled whatsoever.  don’t you think it’s stretching it to go back after rolling several battles and change a casualty choice?

    i agree with bold’s assessment.
    a change of ool after another dice/battle has been rolled is definitely something that should be asked for and not assumed.

    to answer your question, i would allow it if i thought that my opponents change of mind was not due to the dice that were rolled after. if i thought that the ool was wanting to be changed because of the new information/dice i would disallow it.

    so in this case hank13 would rather have kept the sub and damaged the battleship.
    will you allow the edit?

    There was a navak battle after 42.  Z37.  The results of which I would not call insignificant.  Im rushing home for dinner let me think about it a bit.  Lets see what obama has to say, hes a nobel winner that usually advocates for peace.

    It’s this simple people. This is a straight up “favour”.

    Hank wants an edit.  Bold and Dutch can be cool and allow it, or give the stiff arm.

    But when stiff arming starts to happen, it usually goes both ways.

    If it was me, I wouldn’t care, and would allow the change “in good faith”.  BD gets to make that determination however.
