Turn off TripleA - Battle Calculator

Hi

can the Battle Calculator be turned off? I know that there is no save way to ensure not to use any BC, but in my group we wanna keep the Temptation low to ensure a more “board like” experience.

Is there a way to do so?

Yes, oh ye mighty and perfect human being, with no flaws whatsoever. Excuse my stupid request, for I believed true honor can only be found in legend, prose and hollywood - where characters resist all temptations the devil might throw at them and have no stain to make them, what most people refer to as, “human”.

Now, I just wonder why those dice servers exists, and even this “dice in forum” functionality was implemented. Wouldn’t Honor dictate that this is not necessary and we can fully trust each other? Hmm…  :?

I think that it might be hard coded in Triple A, so I don’t see how we can just turn it off.  I would say use the honor code and trust the other won’t use it.  Besides, if one can turn it off locally, how can you be sure if your opponent turned it off?

You are absolutely right. I know that there is not “safe” way. You could even run another instance of TripleA and run the numbers manually. Like I said above… I thought may be there was a way to turn it of per game that is running. … Just to raise the bar of temptation.

But ok. Honor it is then.
