Absolutely right. It’s the first thing it says in the rule book under “Phase 2: Combat Move”!
All movement must end in a hostile space (exception would be naval units escaping a hostile space, and naval/air units anticipating possible scramble).
So John, you need to change your ways ASAP because you’re actually breaking the rules. :-)
I’ll add it to the list. Veqryn doesn’t know the rulebook very well.
