Just realized something, Gamerman made me aware that dropping only a single unit from a TT is not possible, either drop none or both.
In this case it is of course too late now as Italy has moved already.So as somehow there is no perfect option I might suggest we just live with that flaw in that game and I will not do it again. What do you think?

In this case it is of course too late now as Italy has moved already.It is possible to drop a single unit from a TT, but not when you just picked them up during the combat move phase. You can’t drop only 1 on hostile territory after picking up 2 in combat move.
Page 33, Europe 2nd edition manual, under “loading and offloading”
