    You pretty much whiffed on the dice rolls on Japanese turn, scoring three hits which went on submarines.

    US round 2 whiffed also, scoring only three hits.

    I can reasonably guess that you would save the DD, 1 CV, and two fighters, and then kill the CV (two hits) and one fighter.  You could also take the hit on destroyer and save the crippled CV, but you can edit that back in later if there any surviving Japanese ships.  Both hit on 2s and likely I’ll knock off the two US subs as casualties anyway.

    Eight aircraft scored four hits, which left either a crippled CV or a fighter without a home.  You have to kill the fighter, otherwise the American planes retreat and let the fighter crash.

    Last round, the planes hit the crippled carrier and the crippled carrier missed on its turn.
