    Hm, lot of soulsearching right now :)
    I am very risk-averse, normally, but why not risking something occasionally? Hope I did not calculate too sloppy…
    If some rolls now and G4 go well, we have an intense game ahead. If they go wrong, you will have won the game in a few rounds I guess. Or if my plans are an inherent failure, anyway :)

    re the map, you would not have seen anything other than the builds and the air combat movement I told you about. But you are right in principal, of course, and I can send it still. Figured you would be able to decide quicker without downloading the map first while camping.

    I searched everywhere, nothing. My problem is that I do not know anymore how I wanted to position parts of my fleet etc, and if I wanted to attack Scotland or not. I remember that I tinkered for quite some time. Give me a day or more, is that possible? If not, I will whip out a standard G3 in no time ;)

    Honestly, US, after that AA roll I have lost my will to continue this game. Its too distorting. Losing three tacs as cover for the bombers would have been bad, but ok, how unrealistic is a 3/5. But a 4/5 takes away all chances. Will likely throw the towel after G4, and thats really not my normal behaviour.

    I understand how you feel. I recently lost a huge sea battle as Japan against the the Allies while playing rpg44. I should not have lost it, but I conceded after that because I had no chance. That being said, never underestimate my ability to screw up  :|

    Everytime I read something similar to this I know the opponent is sure of winning now :)
    Its not only the probability of about one in 1500 rolls or so, its the snowball effect this will have on my next G. No way you give away this advantage now, but enough said, its only disappointment speaking about one roll with < 0,001 probability at the most critical time with the most hurting consequences, not just losing inf somewhere in a multi unit battle. Dont give it attention, its written for me I suspect.

    So on with Japan later today and no more whining.

    Never thought you were whining sir. I learned a hard lesson from JWW, and even learned it again against Whackamatt. I thought I had both of them beat and never saw what they had planned coming. I do realize those rolls were astronomical odds. All I know is I am never sure of anything in this game. Just want to make sure you did not think I was being disrespectful or anything.  :-)
