  • Does an airbase need to be functional to use paratroopers? I know I don’t have paratroopers but I was checking to see about the rockets. The rules on rockets clearly state that you need an operative AB, but I didn’t read anything in the paratrooper’s paragraph about need an operative AB.     Yes it was an oversight.  I clarified it with Krieghund recently on the FAQ thread.

  • I have another item for your list. Triplea doesn’t let paratroopers go across seazones to attack when there’s a land route available that exceeds the movement restrictions. IE, it doesn’t let you send paratroopers from Paris and W.Germany to say Norway because it tries to send them along the land connection all the way around the Baltic instead of directly across the narrow body of water. Attacking anything that’s not connected by land and meets the other requirements is allowed though. So you’re good to use those same ABs to assist a SL.

    Seth, my compliments for your brave fight. After turn 5 or so I thought the game is completely lost for the Axis. And while I lack experience how to exactly judge the current position I would say you are in a way better shape than 4 rounds ago. Germany has 80 income and so far manages to hold both front lines. Not sure how secure Moscow is with the incoming reinforcements.
