I had a post breaking down the numbers. You’re attack against the US fleet was statistically above average. Only the first round was short a single hit, which was made up for by the second round, and a perfect third round. I was average. no blowout there.
As for Romania, any strategy that has you sacrificing planes to inflict more ground casualties on your opponent isn’t a winning strategy unless your economy is well above theirs. (I’d still recommed against it though)
