Haha. yea, the post was slightly joking. It was clearly an overreaction, but thats how I reacted upon first hearing it. And this goes beyond ridiculous people, IMO, because:
1. “The Passion” is very clearly one of the least fascist films
2. There is a Fascist party, with government offices in France. I understand that people disagree with this, but in a country where Fascism is at least popular enough to garner any govt. positions, you would think that people would be less opposed to it.
hmm, I wonder if those same theater operators showed “Starship Troopers”? While that movie satirizes fascism, the satire is subtle, and easy to mistake for glorification.
