    @Degrasse:

    I was surprised by your attacks on the neutrals on turn J1, it made the middle east area wide open for both sides.

    I tried the neutral attack in two games I started about the same time.  I should have learned my lesson and staggered the starts of an idea so I could learn from my mistakes :p

    I have favored slow play with Germany, and it has never quite played out like I want it too, because for a couple turns it feels like Germany just sits and builds but gains no income, while the Allies just get stronger.  My thought was if I attack Iberia (+3, plus Gib for Italy), Scandinavia (+3) and Turkey (+2), I would gain some cash while also opening up the middle east and the caucus, potentially another 11 in NO for Germany or Italy.

    One thing that is totally clear to me is that Germany needs to build an IC in Turkey or Romania early, and maybe even one in Scandinavia.

    I’ve become resigned to the slow Europe start as Axis regardless of what you do as Japan.  Italy to me is the problem country, if you don’t slow the European game down enough for Italy to catch up the UK pounds Italy into next week.  I think it is Cow though that advocates ignoring the Europe strategy requirements and just go for the quick Pacific win.
