I’m sorry that happened - I know it’s no consolation, but you’re playing against someone who learns every single lesson the hard way… losing fleets, capitols, underestimating movement of people’s units - you name it, I’ve done it. The only difference between us might be that I’ve probably made more mistakes and learned more lessons :-)
Anyhow, this game is far from over, and anything can happen. Even though it was an important battle for me, I had to give up something to do it (always the case). Right now, you own the Atlantic entirely. Your US bombers and UK fighters are fierce.

Ok, so that was a definite misclick. I was supposed to be bombing the factory and not the airbase, not sure why someone would send 3 strat bombers against a single airbase when there’s no enemy units that could benefit from the airbase and nothing to take advantage of a wrecked AB. Do you mind if I edit the damage to the correct facility?
