    I was told triplea doesn’t do the aa right for sbr so as have to roll it here and edit the results. basically roll for each tac/bomber per target then roll surviving damage. from what I was told, triplea lets you choose aa hits, which isn’t right. aa guns specifically target each. if it was just one air type vs 1 target then it wouldn’t matter.

    This is from the Rules, 2nd edition
    Each industrial complex, air base, and naval base has its
    own antiaircraft system. If there is an AAA (antiaircraft
    artillery) unit in the targeted territory, don’t roll for
    it. Those units are used to protect combat units. Each
    complex and base rolls one die against each bomber
    directly attacking it (regardless of the number of
    bombers). For each “1” rolled, a bomber of the attacker’s
    choice is immediately removed.

    After resolving the antiaircraft fire, surviving bombers
    each roll one die. Add 2 to each die rolled for a strategic
    bomber (but not for tactical bombers), then total the
    results. To mark the damage done by the attacking
    bomber(s), place 1 gray plastic chip under the targeted
    industrial complex or base per damage point rolled.
    An industrial complex can’t receive more than 20 total
    damage for major industrial complexes and more than
    6 total damage for minor ones. Air bases and naval
    bases can’t receive more than 6 total damage. Damage
    exceeding these limits is not applied.
    A bomber that performed a strategic or tactical bombing
    raid can’t participate in any other combat this turn and
    must return to a friendly territory during the Noncombat
    Move phase.

    for example if you use 2 tac on 1 airbase, 1 tac on port, and 3 bombers on the complex, you need to specify and roll for each target individually.  if triplea handles it, a hit could be chosen from any of the air, but it could be important the port not get hit for example. if that port aa hits, then you could not damage the port instead of choosing a loss elsewhere.

    But if I use all of my aircraft at bombing the IC ? Then I as the attacker choose the casualty.

  • the program killed one of my  tac (the same as we here)

    but it made 18 dmg to IC and 6 to airfield (2 more for each) - we should correct it

  • I think in the aa section each air unit is targeted. it’s not like normal combat where the defender chooses.
