I should clarify what I mean… Air support when called in immediately appeared and for only being +/- 200 feet it had to be a B-17!

Download instructions:
Download the “war_plan_red_orange” folder within the “Version 0.2.0” folder and unzip it. Add this to C:/Users/(your username)/triplea/downloadedMaps Rename the map.properties.txt file in war_plan_red_orange/map to map.properties. There are a few different ways to do this, a good one is to look at the folder in file explore, hit View->file name extensions, and then rename the file without the .txt suffix. Credit to Lost for telling me about this method.

One of our members has the game - I have seen it and shortly studied it.

It is very similar to Avalon Hills Third Reich which we played back in the 90’s.

We found inspiration from some of these rules and have adapted them into the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion.

Congrats on the successful funding! That’s no small feat, especially in the board game world. Looking forward to seeing more details on Song for War when you get the chance to share. Always interesting to see how different designers approach WWII mechanics, especially in the Med Theater, which doesn’t get as much focus. Good luck with the production phase, it sounds like quite the ride.

This makes me so happy! This game is my childhood. Is it up and running with a multiplayer server? i played it a bunch about 3 years ago and now im checking in again.

I am on a quest to convert most of my “pushing plastic” games’ maps to a larger roll up format. I have been able to do that with all of my A&A games thanks to this site! Does anyone have a hi-res scan of the History of the World Map? Either the New Avalon hill version or the Z-Man Games reprint is fine.
