If your opponent is buying DD’s with the USA it is unlikely you are playing 2nd edition. You should post on the correct forum to make sure you are receiving the best advice.
Problems playing Iron Blitz on Windows 2000

Hello everybody,
I need help with the Iron Blitz PC game. It works perfectly on windows XP but gives me problems on win2000. Any time I start a combat section, the screen gets black and the program crashes (no messages showed). Do you have any hint for me?
I run the program in win98 compatibility.

Well, about your problem…
Windows200 is a bit gamingly challenged… i’ve had this happen for the short time i had it with Diablo II and MOHAA… i’d simply use XP
