Dont have my computer on but i think you got the edit wrong there. Should be DD from 43 to 42. I’m pretty sure…
-
This occurs regardless of the state of relations between the Soviet Union and Japan at the time of the attack,
Hmm…
Free army in Mongolia!!! Don’t even need to activate!!!
**WEEEEE!** Map will be edited for Chinese Turn.
Hmm… think I jumped the gun. Apologies…
I believe KANSU was Japanese controlled at some point… and I attacked it without realizing it would violate the Mongolia grab. :(
Call it even for the AA guns? LOL…
Look Joel, if you think you would be unfairly disadvantaged by Germany keeping its 3 AA guns then just say so. No big deal. There is no need to invent some false oversight on your part to justify it. :-)
I await your american re-move.
-
Upon second inspection this Mongolia thing does represent a significant strategic oversight on your part. You can hang on those AA guns… :-)
-
American Re-Move?
What are we talking?
-
Actually check that. I want the DD back in 42 where I had it before the edit.(Java seasone) Computer is shut down, I will kindly ask you to do it.
EDIT: Removing units owned by Japanese from 42 Sea Zone: 1 destroyer
EDIT: Adding units owned by Japanese to 43 Sea Zone: 1 destroyeroh boy…
I misunderstood the request… yep I’m seeing it now - and we have a big problem.
The majority of my moves are going to be different in the pac in light of this information. Specifically by the fact that your transports are defended in Sz36,
I apologize for screwing up the edit :( but now there’s a mess to sort out.
-
I don’t see any need to change anything on the European side of the board.
But this pacific thing… I think I need to redo the entire turn.
-
hmm… maybe some NCM’s on the euro side… frack.
I think we need to do this turn again. There are way too many different factors now.
Please provide your comments before I proceed.
-
You bet. I will look at the map shortly.
-
How have you been anyways?
Been a long time friend!
-
Been well. Finished another godforsaken year in undergrad, officially start the Master’s degree in September. In France now, the girl is in Spain, and I will be rockin’ back to BC for a couple of weeks end July Beginning of August. Let me know if you are free this weekend we can catch up over skype, long time indeed.
As for this issue… I have to run off and help with this big dinner party tonight so I can’t hack the whole thing out right now.
On the surface this is how I see it:
The majority of my moves are going to be different in the pac in light of this information. Specifically by the fact that your transports are defended in Sz36,
I understand you will have to change most of what went on in the pacific. (Though it was only that one move right?) But also, those transports were always defended. I can scramble from my airbase. It’s just a DD block in 42 to prevent the java/sumatra/malaya take.
Ideally I don’t thing anything should move in Europe but I do understand the complexities of your strategy, so I would just ask that any change in Europe be explained and justified.
Let me know what you want to do.
-
Whops. That post got goofed.
Yeah man, you only made the one move in the Pacific. So other land landing on another Island(Philippines or celebs) I don’t know what else you want to change. Europe, well I cant see that changing much at all. Just give me your justifications if you want to.
-
What you are not seeing is that 4 Russian fighters can hit the SZ with your trns…
-
No, I see that.
-
There are really two moves that were made, as the edit was done erroneously.
Sz 36 destroyer, and Sz42 destroyer were not on the map I used when I made my moves.
To begin, I attacked Kiangsi in force because I had to have a landing there, I also did not move Chinese forces to yunnan, because I didn’t believe it would be possible to have transports in range of India or Burma. The same is said for the troops I have in Burma, they are now at significant risk - when I was prepared to sacrifice my Russian airforce previously.
Anyways, in moving forward:
Let me try and edit the map tomorrow, with all the NCM’s I’ll need, and without editing the battles at all - or as little as possible.
I can probably wade through it reasonably, and then we can proceed if there ends up being a specific snag, I’ll post it for discussion.
-
You bet.
-
Hey Joel. If it’s really vexing you tat much I am content to leave it and we can move on. ;-)
-
LOL,
I’ve been away all weekend, and outside of that - work has been a killer.
I’ll be on it this evening.
-
It’s 11pm and I am still crunching at work…
Will try again tomorrow - apologies.
-
In the meantime, for your enjoyment…
