  • Just a word on my varying speed of play - I have chemotherapy treatments every two weeks, and it usually knocks me out for at least 3 days. This last one has been a bit harsher, and it’s Tuesday and I still can’t concentrate very well.     Not a problem; its summer and I just increase my game threads knowing that people will take more days off :)

  • Ok so I’m attacking Sea zone 19 and it prompts kamikaze attacks, but I am not declaring amphibious assault.

    Rule says:
    If an Allied player attacks Japanese units or declares an amphibious assault from one of these sea zones, the Japanese player can announce at the beginning of the Conduct Combat phase that he or she intends to launch one or more kamikaze strikes.

    Is this a TripleA mistake? I believe it is. In any case, let me know what you think and give me your OOL :) thanks.

    Rule says:

    I think it’s being handled correctly, you’re attacking my ships, so that’s an “attack on Japanese Units”.

    if you want to rethink the battle, that’s fine with me.  The odds calculator says its a doomed battle for you :)

    I’ll take 4 kam on the BB, and OOL will be soak BB, SS, DD, CV, BB, planes.  The only exception to that list is that if for some reason not all of your subs are dead, I don’t want my last DD gone.
