What if instead of creating tank (or panzer) formations, Germany concentrated on building more trucks (and some half-tracks although not enough can probably built for the whole army) to fully motorise their army? How would their performance during the war have changed?

Work has begun to raise the only surviving German World War II Dornier 17 bomber from its watery grave at Goodwin Sands, off the Kent coast.

Not much news on the kiddies channel. -
Unfortunately, work had to be called off on Sunday raising the DO17 as winds were too strong.
They hope to continue in a week.I was unaware this plane is the only known surviving example.
We can only hope it can be brought to the surface. -
