I attacked Prussia thinking there were only Frogs there. Did not see those Swedes!

Not sure I can turn it around as you can place 7 forts in Prussia and only Russia has the money and freedom to retake it, but are too far away, especially with Sweden reinforcing it.

Failing to take Sicily has scuppered my Med Defence Plan(Nelson’s brainchild).
And I am running out of effective Inf.

Navy we are 16( 9 Channel, 7 Med) to 20(Spain 11 and Sweden 9).
I have 6 trapped Russian ones too.
I can’t go after Sweden until Spain goes away and I am not sure I ever will now.

Med defense plan?

I’m not sure a comparison of navies is accurate because all of your Navy is under one flag.  My Swedish Navy cannot stray far from the Baltic and my Spanish one cannot stray far from Gibraltar.  At least for now.

You can say I’m winning, and I may be because of Prussia, but France is spread as thin as can be.  Not sure I can do anything with France other than take more of the Mid East and defend France/Italy/Kongsiberg.

Spain is going to be challenging Britain for the seas.  Will be buying lots of ships with them, forcing England to do the same.

I cannot push on Austria anywhere- not enough French or Ottoman troops to do so right now.

The Ottoman has its hands full with Russia.

Anyway, it has been a fun game with the initiative swinging back and forth.  A couple turns ago I thought for sure I was losing, now I have a slight edge.  We will see where it will be in a couple more turns.

We have both learnt things :Spain needs the Convoy Box and not to lose a capital while you still own the rest of your nation.
Ignoring Berlin was the right thing to do, heading instead directly for Konigsberg.
I should have sent my Russians West and not South.
You also wondered if UK should hammer Sweden and not france; if it helps Prussia stay in the game, maybe it is the thing to do.
