I slipped my mind that I couldn’t take all my mech with me, so it was about 50/50 instead of the massacre I originally thought it’d be. But the dice in the first round worked out well for me.
And yeah, Russia held out just long enough for me to really bottle you up in the middle east. Although to be honest, I did start to really worry about how I’d hold when I saw you had 30 some tanks left over after taking Moscow. My forces were still somewhat scattered and I honestly didn’t know if I would be able to stop you short of Egypt (if that!). Well fought game!

I’m about to fly in another 10 ftr/tac next turn from US alone, Japan isn’t really a force anymore, US armor/mech will be pressing from Siberia, US/UK troops will continue to land in Western Europe, and UK will be able to hold Egypt from Italy since Iraq’s not going to be taken anytime soon with dozens of allied aircraft adding some heavy punch to it’s D.
I’m comfortable playing this out for another couple of rounds if you want. I just think it’s pretty hopeless at this point. Still, I won’t deprive a game opponent from taking one last stab at it.
