    Just so you know, I accidentally moved both of my aircraft carriers to sz 42 during the combat phase, when I meant to non-combat one of them to sz 37 to protect my transports and destroyer (which you killed by the way). I edited it from 42 to 37 after combat, I hope that’s ok with you.


  • Man, what an expansion… I had meant all along to leave two Anzacian destroyers as blockers off Borneo and Phillipines, which would have slowed you down and forced you to use some resources against them… and completely forgot. I knew your turn would be bloody, and it was.

    I got some luck in Kwangtung and with the destroyer off malaya, but your island campaign went great for you, so you accomplished your objectives.

  • Shan State was fun… 6 infantry vs. 2 infantry… and you lose nothing, I lose all six. Allows you to kill a fighter… allows you to keep Malaya… allows you to pressure India (landing spot for aircraft)… HUGE turning point. I had like 25 rolls at 1… zero hits.

    I hate it when stupid s%$t like that gets in the way of a perfectly good game.

    I blame Wheatbeer. He just crushed me in 5 turns, so I think all of my potential luck from that game has been concentrated into this one. Sorry. Also, the G1 Barbarossa / 5th turn Moscow attack is pretty deadly.


  • No question, it’s brutal.

    Moscow was a 92% attack, with just under 15 German units remaining by odds - so considering that you ended with 30 units - all expensive armor/aircraft, I’m done.

    Added to the Shan State debacle, it’s best if I don’t torture myself in a game I now have a 10% chance to win.

    I still don’t know how you’ve lost any games. I’m a pretty solid player, and the two times you played me I ended up being dragged behind a chariot…  :-)

    So I surrender - congratulations on two great wins for you, and I look forward to not having to play you for awhile!
