  • In all seriousness, I wonder if there’s something tangible to be done to change the patterns happening to you?

    I happen to be a D&D player as well (yup, total nerd) - both 1st edition and 3.5 - and I go through spells of crazy bad dice. I’ve learned to find ways to change my energy - and it works - sometimes it’s as simple as accepting death, sometimes it’s no longer caring, and sometimes it’s taking the random walk and waiting for a couple seconds after I wanted to roll the dice. Anything to shake up the pattern.

    Of course, none of it matters if a belief in total randomness is at your core  :wink:

    Where do you stand on this kind of stuff? I’m interested in it turning around for you, because we’re both good players, and I want the game to be on a level playing field, whether I win or lose.
