    When you started to go heavy into bombers and leveled my factory. I was going to send UK fighters up there . . . but 6 bombers in the past 2 turns plus the other stuff you moved back from your southern front plus the 20 damage pretty much meant the Russians would fall.

    Up to then I thought I might be able to keep Moscow afloat with UK fighter reinforcements. Or at the least make you pay very heavily for Moscow. Now, well I thought keeping those fighters for later would be better  . . . we’ll see if that was the right call.

    I was very disappointed when you moved the fighters out - I wanted to kill them all. ;)

    I hit quite a bit over ANY estimate. I haven’t run the numbers, but off hand I’d say I probably got close to the result had I indeed stacked my fighters in Moscow. So it’s kind of like I get the best of both worlds, I inflict damage on the German army AND I get to keep my fighters. I’d feel more sorry for you, but you already had a massive battle that swung in your favor off the Carolines.  :wink:

  • Combined (not including AA which was exactly average), I hit a blistering 46% (69/150) in Moscow. For the battle you hit 37% (94/253) so not too far apart in the hit percentage. BUT, you had a lot more 3s and 4s than I did in that battle. Both of our hit percentages increased during the combat rounds, but mine were already high and didn’t increase that much while you started started low and topped out above 50% for round 3.

    Moscow will definitely help me defend the Middle East and Egypt better, I’m super glad that you didn’t have a bunch of mech left to go with those tanks. I’m also kind of surprised that you kept the arty at the end instead of saving those 6 mech.

    I thought I kept the Mechs too. That was my intention. Thought I clicked for it. Must not have looked close enough and clicked too fast. It was very late for me… I’ve had about 10 hours of sleep the last 4 days. I’d edit them back if you’d let me, because that was what I wanted to do. Anyway, it is what it is if not ;)
