Well they would be counters for each nation in a cup that you draw randomly. say 1 inch wooden chits with a decal on it. Icons of say a tank or Battleship if the commander effects those. If you draw a chit and don’t own that piece, you just lost that advantage that turn. The next turn you draw another chit. The used chits stay out of the jar, so the design features will balance in total for both Axis and Allies…or not. Depends on the game played…

During one particularly insane A&A session, another player moved his battleship onto the land, claiming, “land battleship!” well, my friend and i got to thinking, and we actually put some stats on it. It’s primary use is for endgames when you want to show your opponent how pointless resistance is. (cue diabolical laughter) anyway, the stats:
Cost: 50 Move: 4 spaces (land or water) Atk/Def: 5/5
Special: Can act as transport, transports 4 inf/2 arm. Takes 3 hits. Can blitz.Any ideas? Modifications?

I would make it so that when at Land Battleship fires, it gets to roll 4 die instad of 1 (each to represent a “turrent” of the battleship) :wink:
